Mary Elizabeth Finnerty

Mary Elizabeth Finnerty, 64, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018, with her loved ones at her bedside. Mary was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.

She was a secretary with Skarzynski Black, LLC, New York City, for over 18 years and was also employed at Apollo Management for many years.

Mary was a fun, loving person who was always the life of the party.        

She was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (nee: Murray) and Patrick Finnerty. She is survived by her loving companion, Anthony Caputo; her dear siblings, John, William (Rosemary), Joseph (Ava), Dottie (Ron), Patricia, Dr. Kevin (Kristan), James (Carolyn), Anne (Bob) and Bernadette and the late Patrick and Daniel; her 12 cherished nieces and nephews; her seven great grandnieces and grandnephews; and many loving friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held from the Parish of Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.am followed by a private cremation. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
