Noel (Byrne) Hughes

Noel Hughes (nee: Byrne) passed away peacefully on November 27, 2017.  She was born in Bayonne and was a long-time resident.  She was an employee for the Bayonne Visiting Nurses’ Association and also worked at MetLife.

Mrs. Hughes was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward.  She is survived by her son, Michael (Elaine); and her siblings, Patrick “Buddy” (Maryann) and William (Kathy) Byrne.

The funeral will be conducted by William Kohoot Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.  A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
