Anthony Buttacavoli, 88, of Bayonne, passed away at his residence on April 29, 2015, with his loving wife at his side. Born in New York, Mr. Buttacavoli resided in Staten Island for many years, before moving to Bayonne 20 years ago. He was employed by the Federal Government, Army Corp of Engineers, New York as a GS 11 before retiring. He was an Army Veteran and belonged to the Sons of Italy.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jo Ann Buttacavoli (nee: Huffman). He was predeceased by his dear brother, Peter Buttacavoli.
The funeral will be conducted from Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, May 1, 2015. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11:30 a.m. followed by entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum, Jersey City. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
