Anthony McManaman

 Anthony (Tony) McManaman, 68, passed away on March 31, 2015 at his residence with his loving family by his side.  Born in Liverpool, England, he was a Bayonne resident prior to moving to Virginia Beach in 1998. 

Tony was a port engineer for the Military Sealift Command, retiring in 2010 after 27 years of service.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid jet skier, loved kayaking, and was a world traveler.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Judy McManaman; his loving children, Anthony, Stephen, and Paul McManaman, Gayle Freeman,  Andrew  and Mary McManaman; his dear step-children, Jude, Stas and Charles Baczek and Alexandria Greene; his nine adoring grandchildren; two cherished great grandchildren;  his dear siblings, , Mollie Ellams, Anne Matthews, and Desmond McKellen; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.  Tony was predeceased by his beloved parents, Mary and Joseph McManaman, and dear sisters, Cathie Toner and Jo McManaman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Monday, April 6, 2015 by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by cremation at Rosehill Crematory.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
