Catherine McNerney (nee: Ferraro), 94, passed away peacefully at Lakeland Health Care Center, Haskell, NJ. Born in Bayonne, she was a lifelong resident prior to moving to Haskell. Mrs. McNerney was a custodian for the Bayonne Board of Education, serving the Horace Mann School community. She was a member of the Young at Heart Club.
Mrs. McNerney was predeceased by her beloved husband, John; her loving sons, John Jr. and Robert; and her six dear siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren, great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday, November 28, 2016. A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 12:00 p.m. followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
