Clement Patrick Farley

Clement Patrick Farley, 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Columbus Hospital, Newark. Born in Jersey City, he was a lifelong Bayonne resident. A retired Bayonne Policeman, Mr. Farley owned and operated the Hideaway Tavern in Bayonne. He was an Army veteran serving in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the F.A Mackenzie Post, Bayonne

Mr. Farley is survived by his beloved wife, Lois (nee: Buttner); his sons, Clement (Maureen) and George (Christa); his cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Kiernan, and Caitlin Farley. He was predeceased by his sister, Genevieve Dunlap.

The funeral will be conducted from the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, August 19, 2016, with a Funeral Mass from the Parish of Blessed Miriam Teresa at St. Andrew’s Church at 11:00 a.m. Private Cremation will follow.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
