Daniel Finnerty, 66, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Born in Bayonne, Daniel was a lifelong resident.
Daniel was an avid golfer and a passionate New York Rangers’ fan. Most of all, he enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews in all their sports, musical and theatrical accomplishments. Daniel was a friend to all.
He was the beloved son of the late Dorothy (nee: Murray) and Patrick Finnerty. He is survived by his dear siblings, John, William (Rosemary), Joseph (Ava), Dr. Kevin (Kristan), James (Carolyn), Dottie (Ron), Sr. Patricia, S.S.J., Mary (Tony), Anne (Bob) and Bernadette; his 12 cherished nieces and nephews; and his five great grandnieces and grandnephews. He is also survived by his loving dogs, Roxy and Fred. He was predeceased by his brother, Patrick.
A Memorial Gathering with cremains present will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. with a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m.
