George Anthony Cappoli

George Anthony Cappoli, 61, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016, at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was born in Jersey City and resided in Bayonne for 30 years.

Mr. Cappoli was a forklift operator for CDS, Avenel, and also worked at ShopRite for 16 years in the receiving department.

He was an avid bowler, playing in many leagues in Bayonne and Jersey City, and achieved a perfect game of 300.

Mr. Cappoli is survived by his beloved wife, Jo Ann (nee: Lang) Cappoli; his loving son, Nicholas James Cappoli; his dear mother, Antoinette Yapaola; his beloved siblings, Peter Cappoli (Robyn) and Toni Ann Rocco (Robert); and several loving nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his dear father, George Walter Cappoli.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.  A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
