Harold Burns, 88, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Bayonne, passed away on January 31, 2017. Born in Bayonne, he was employed by General Dynamics, Avenel, for over 40 years. He served in the Navy 1946-1951. He was a member of the VFW, Joyce Herbert Post.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Audrey (nee: Dames); and his brothers, Edward, Robert, James and Norman Burns. He is survived by his loving daughters, Virginia Pona (Daniel) and Phyllis Spano (Salvatore); his cherished grandchildren, Jaime and Matthew Pona and Nicole Spano; and his dear sisters, Edith Lesczynski and Lois Burns, and his grandpuppy Daisy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June, 17, 2017, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Bayonne at 12:00 p.m. with Inurnment of his cremated remains in the Columbarium.
