Helen R. Barba, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2016. Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of Bayonne since 1954.
Helen was a clerk in the Personnel Department for Hudson County and also worked at Pollack Hospital prior to that.
Helen is survived by her dear siblings, Jerry Barba, Elizabeth Magotch and Florence Bottge; and many cherished nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Elizabeth (nee: Mauro) and Salvatore Barba; and her beloved siblings, Salvatore, Jack, Gus, Anthony, Marie and Josephine Barba, and Anna Keldonawicz.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, January 29, 2016. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
