Helen Manley Shevlin (nee: Corkery), 73, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2017. Helen was born in Jersey City and was a resident of Bayonne for most of her life. She was a secretary for Team Express for many years, retiring in 1998. Upon retirement, she enjoyed her days traveling with her husband in their R/V to many resorts, beaches, and casinos, from New Jersey to the Florida Keys.
Helen is survived by her beloved husband, Peter Shevlin; and her former husband, Ray Manley; her loving children, Cheryl Manley Kelly (Michael), Raymond Manley and Peter Manley (Jade); her adoring grandchildren, Megan and Tracy Kelly, Matthew, Sara and Emma Manley, and Amanda and Briana Klich; and her dear brother, Thomas Corkery (Sarita).
She was predeceased by her cherished grandson, Peter Joseph John Manley; and her dear siblings, Daniel, Joseph and Margaret Corkery, and Kathleen Jarosz.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew the Apostle Church on October 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.
