James G. Jubina

James G. Jubina, 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Bayonne Medical Center.  Born in Bayonne, he was a lifelong resident.  He was a dispatcher for Campbell Taxi Company, Bayonne.

James was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed cooking.  He cooked at a concession stand near Yankee Stadium, at a stand at Liberty State Park and for Three Brothers.

James is survived by his beloved partner, Franca Gehweiler; his dear siblings, Dottie Barresi (the late Jack) and George Jubina (Eileen); and his dear nieces and nephews, Natalie Hertz (Ronnie), Anthony Barresi (Nicole), Jonathan Barresi, Michael Jubina (Erika) and Jackie Jubina.  He was the great uncle of Lucas and Oliver Jubina and Gabriella and Christopher Barresi.  He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Mary (nee: Polumbo) and George Jubina; and his dear sister, Nancy Leone.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday, April 10, 2017.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church at 11:00 a.m. (tentatively) followed by interment at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
