Jane A. (Geibel) Heriot

Jane A. Heriot (nee: Geibel), 91, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Bayonne Medical Center. Born in Bayonne, she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Heriot was predeceased by her beloved husband, David; and her dear siblings, Mary E. Smith, and Alfred Geibel. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Mary Jane Sheehan and her loving son, David Heriot; her cherished granddaughter, Nicole; and her great granddaughter, Magnolia; her dear siblings, Harriet LaPolla, Richmond McCurnin and John McCurnin; and her caring niece, Mary Beth Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to her caregivers, Carmen and Casandra, for their outstanding care.

The funeral will be conducted from the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.  on Saturday, April 9, 2016. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew the Apostle Church followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will take place on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
