Kary (Davila) Murillo

Kary Murillo (nee Davila), 75, of Bayonne, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at her residence with her loving family at her side. Born in Chone, Ecuador, she resided in Jersey City before settling in Bayonne 40 years ago. She was a Nursing Assistant for over 30 years at Bayonne Hospital, working in the Clinic and Endoscopy Department, before retiring 11 years ago.

Mrs. Murillo was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francisco (Poncho) Murillo. She is survived by her devoted children, Francis Murillo (Lisa), Michael Murillo (Eve), and Kary Suarez (Donald); her dear siblings; Marianna Parraga, and Xavier and Emilio Solarzano; her cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Devon, Sydney, Gabriella and Samantha Murillo, and Nicholas and Damian Suarez; and her loving nephew, Eric Solarzano.

The funeral will be conducted from the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, August 19, 2016 with a Funeral Mass being held at the Parish of Pope John Paul II at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. (www.alznj.org).
