Leonidas Gonzalez (nee: Burgos), 88, of North Bergen, formerly of West New York, died on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Hudson View Care and Rehabilitation Center, North Bergen. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Gonzalez lived most of her life in New York and West New York. She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her beloved son, Benito Gonzalez. She is survived by her dear siblings, Berto Burgos, Nilda Reyes and Carmen Pena; her cherished grandchildren, Benito Gonzalez, Jr., Jessica and Omar Gonzalez; her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Gonzalez; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted from the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc on Friday, February 13, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. at St. Henry’s Church followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
