Mark C. Page

Mark C. Page, 51, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015.  He was a lifelong resident of Bayonne.  He attended St. Andrew’s Grammar School, St. Peter’s Prep and Syracuse University.  Mark was employed by the County of Hudson as a transportation coordinator at Transcend Transportation. 

An avid sports fan, Mark loved Syracuse sports, the Yankees, Devils, and the Giants and especially any team with his son on the roster.  His passion for sports and his son, coupled with his outgoing, outspoken nature, made Mark well known throughout the sports community.  He was a coach of the Bayonne Cal Ripken 11U NNJ 2014 State Championship team.  Mark was a passionate music fan and especially loved the Grateful Dead.  He was a past officer of the Shamrock Society of Bayonne, a member of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore and the Knights of Columbus Football Club.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen Page (nee: Calverley); his loving son, Matthew Page; his brother, Jeffrey Page, his dear mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Calverley; his dear sister-in-law, Margaret Calverley; his beloved uncle, Gerard Kiley; and several loving cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Catherine (nee: Kiley) and Matthew Page.

Visitation will be held at the Bayonne Memorial Home on Tuesday, August 25th from 4 to 8 PM.  A funeral mass will be offered at 10:30 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church on Wednesday, August 26th, followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
