Mary C. Panfile

Mary C. Panfile, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 with her loving family by her side.  Born in Bayonne, she was a lifelong resident who worked at Western Electric and as a substitute teacher at St. Andrew’s School in her early years. For many years, Mary worked as a seamstress at Career and Cradle and was also a self-employed interior designer/decorator. Mary was a member of the Bayonne Quilting Club and an avid sewer who used her talent and skills to donate many hand-made items to local organizations, including her parish of St. Andrew’s, the Bayonne Board of Education, and local hospitals for children with cancer.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Albert B. Panfile; her loving children Albert and his wife Patty, Patti, Kay, and Beth; her adoring grandchildren Matthew, Ronnie, Daniel, Andrew and David; and her dear brother John Boyle.  She was predeceased by her loving brother James Boyle.
Mary will be waked at Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, October 10, 2014 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:30 a.m., followed by a prayer service at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, 111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714.
