Michael Dyletczuk passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Born in Stanislav, Ukraine, he came to the United States from post-World War II Germany in 1950. He was a resident of Bayonne prior relocating to Denville in 2014.
Mr. Dyletczuk was an Arc Welder for General Motors in Linden for 44 years and a member of the Ukrainian National Home.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Donna Shannon and Pauline Dyletczuk; his adoring grandchildren, J.C. and Katherine Shannon and Joseph Homsi; and his former wife, Paula Korbyn.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Saturday, July 16, 2016. A funeral Liturgy will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Parastas will take place at 6:00 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
