Stephen W. Cimbolic

Stephen W. Cimbolic, 86, of Bayonne, NJ passed away on June 15, 2016, at Bayonne Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, Stephen served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He attended Cooper Union and worked for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 47 years.

Stephen was the loving husband of Margaret Petronko Cimbolic for nearly 60 years.  Loving father of Steve Cimbolic and his wife Nancy, Marge Kovach and, her husband, Jerry, Greg Cimbolic, Melanie Prybylski, and, her husband, Jay.  Proud grandfather of Danielle Kovach, Stephen Cimbolic, Michael Kovach, and Samantha Cimbolic. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Stephen was the dear brother of the late Peter Cimbolic, Joseph Cimbolic, John Cimbolic, Ann Verona, Juliana Bacsik, Helen Colacino, and Sophie Gill.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 17th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Bayonne Memorial Home, 854 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ with a Panichida at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday, June 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 98 West 28 St., Bayonne, NJ, with Interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
