Thomas Fienan

Thomas Fienan, 79, died peacefully at Complete Care at Shorrock Gardens Nursing Home in Brick, NJ on February 28th after a brief illness. He was surrounded by family. He is the son of the late John and Helen Fienan (Wysowata). Devoted husband of 58 years to Aldona Fienan (Bicica).

Tom grew up in downtown Bayonne and was a graduate of St. Andrews School and Bayonne High School. He proudly served on the Bayonne Fire Department for 26 years and later worked as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for the City of Bayonne. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Las Vegas, where Tom enjoyed working part time as an actor at The Mob Experience at the Tropicana Hotel. After spending 22 years in Las Vegas, Tom and Donna returned home to New Jersey, where he spent many years as a loving and devoted caregiver to his wife. In his free time, Tom enjoyed seeing new movies and listening to music. He was a lifelong Giants and Yankees fan. He was also a devout Catholic.

Tom was predeceased by his son, Thomas M. Fienan. He is survived by his wife, Aldona, his daughter, Kerry Boyle and her husband Kevin, and his daughter-in-law, Jamie Fienan. Loving grandfather to Kaitlyn Boyle, Leigh Ann Boyle and fiancé Adam Rynerson, and Thomas John Fienan. He will be remembered by many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4th from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Bayonne Memorial Home, 854 Avenue C, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 5th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church at Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish, Bayonne. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
