Frank E. Young

Frank E. Young passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, March 1, 2019.  He was born in Bayonne and was a long-time resident, prior to relocating to Barnegat.  He was a boiler operator for the Bayonne Board of Education for 30 years, retiring in 2010.

Frank was an avid fisherman and member of the Atlas Boat Club.  He was also a passionate chess player.

A devoted family man, he enjoyed barbequing for family and friends and was a famous pina colada maker.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Joan M. Young (nee: Perucki); his loving children, Dana Aiello, and her husband, Michael, and Keith Young, Bayonne Police Officer; and his cherished grandchildren, Amber Young, Anthony, Alexis and Christopher Aiello.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday, March 4, 2019.  A funeral Mass will be held at The Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 3, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
