Sandra Hernandez

Sandra Hernandez, 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Emerson Health and Rehabilitation Center, Emerson.

Born in New York City to the late Carmen (nee: Ramos) and Domingo Sanchez, Sandra resided in Bayonne for many years. She was a charity care case worker at Bayonne Medical Center prior to retirement.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, Cynthia Frankel, and her husband, James, Jessica Carroll, and her husband, Shawn, and Alberto Rivera, and his fiancé, Stacy; her cherished grandchildren, Emma Kenny and Preston Frankel; her dear brother, Domingo Sanchez, Jr.; her nephews, Christopher Munoz, and his wife, Brunilda, and Charles Munoz ; her  beloved friend Rosa Medina ; her godchildren and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Nadia Munoz.

A funeral will be conducted by the Bayonne Memorial Home Inc. on Monday, October 18, 2021. A funeral Mass will take place at the Parish of Blessed Miriam Teresa at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11:00 a.m. Private Cremation will follow. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
