Justyna (Harasymiw) Petrinczyk

Justyna Petrinczyk (nee: Harasymiw) passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2017.  Born in Ukraine, she was a Bayonne resident since 1949.  She was a seamstress.

Mrs. Petrinczyk was a member of the Rosary Society of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church and for many years made pierogis for its regular fundraiser.

Mrs. Petrinczyk was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (Wasyl) Petrinczyk, and her loving daughter, Olga Petrinczyk.  She is survived by her beloved son, John Petrinczyk; her cherished grandchildren, William “Bill” Petrinczyk, and his wife, Tanya, and Peter Petrinczyk; and her devoted family member, Margaret Hastrup.  She was also predeceased by her dear daughter-in-law, Regina Petrinczyk.

The funeral will be conducted by William Kohoot Funeral Home on Thursday, July 27, 2017.  A funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Parastas being held at 6:00 p.m.  The Rosarians of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will meet at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. to say the Rosary for their deceased member.
