Alfredo Santiago

Alfredo Santiago passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2019, at his Bayonne residence.  He was born on January 7, 1940, in Manhattan to the late Ramona (nee: Rosato) and Edwardo Santiago and was a long-time resident of Queens and the Bronx, prior to relocating to Bayonne.  Alfredo worked for the Daily News from the age of 17 until his retirement this year.

Alfredo was predeceased by his beloved children, Alfred and Cora Santiago.  He is survived by his loving wife, Aurora (nee: Viera) Santiago; his cherished son, Dakota Santiago; and his dear siblings, Ed and Richie Santiago.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 8:30 p.m.  Cremation will be private.
