Anne Humen (nee: Switnicki), 96, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2021, at her Bayonne residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Jersey City and was a long-time Bayonne resident. She was a keypunch operator for Manufacturers Hanover Trust in Manhattan for over 20 years prior to retirement.
Mrs. Humen was a devoted parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Society and often made pierogis with fellow members of the church.
She was also a member of the Golden Ages Senior Club.
Mrs. Humen was predeceased by her beloved husband, John. She is survived by her loving children, Janet Humen, John Humen, and Peter Humen, and his wife, Colleen; her four cherished grandchildren, Keri Lyn Intagliata, and her husband, Anthony, Kimberly Ann Trento, and her husband, Joe, John Christopher and Jessica Christine Humen; and one adoring great grandchild, Valentino Intagliata. She was also predeceased by her dear brother, Peter Switnicki.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Saturday, September 11, 2021. A funeral Liturgy will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Parastas taking place at 5:00 p.m.
