Audrey (Davis) Anaya

Audrey Anaya (nee: Davis) passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Bayonne Medical Center.  She was born in Jersey City to the late Bertha (nee: Griebel) and Charles Davis and was a long-time Bayonne resident.  She was a secretary for Alliance Shipping in Englewood Cliffs for 35 years, prior to retirement in November of 2023, and was passionate about the work she did.

Audrey was an avid 49ers fan and loved horses.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Robert.  She is survived by her loving son, Benjamin; and his wife, Jessica; her cherished grandchildren, Alexa and Brendyn; her adoring great grandchildren, Jaxson and Thomas; her fiancé and the love of her life for 40 years, Raymond Bauer; her dear siblings, Wayne and Charlene Davis; and many loving nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her loving sister, Ann.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m.  Private Cremation will follow.  Entombment of Audrey’s ashes will take place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum at a later date.
