Betty A. Murray

Betty A. Murray (nee: Boyce) passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2018.  She was born in Brockton, MA to the late Ruth and Ed Schaler and was a long time Bayonne resident.

Mrs. Murray was a devoted parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.  She was a member of its Rosary Society and the Andreans and was a dedicated volunteer for many parish functions.

Mrs. Murray was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bayonne Fire Captain Joseph P. Murray; and her loving son, Daniel Murray.  She is survived by her loving son, Robert Murray, and his wife, Jayne; her cherished grandchildren, Robyn Pullaro (Brian), Danielle Gonzalez (Johnny) and Robert “Bubba” Murray, Jr.; and her adoring great grandchildren, Jackson and Avery Pullaro and Adrianna Gonzalez.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday, August 19, 2018.   A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Staten Island.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
