Bonnie L. (Spera) Greer

Bonnie L. Greer (nee: Spera) passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Lehigh Commons, Macungie, PA.  She was born in Irvington, NJ to the late Pauline (nee: Malinowski) and Frank J. Spera and was a long-time Garwood resident prior to relocating to Bath, PA.  She was a technology manager for IKEA, prior to retirement.

Bonnie was a devoted mother who courageously battled cancer and Alzheimer's Disease for 13 years.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Greer; her devoted daughter, Lori Collins; her sons, Jeffrey and Gary Greer; her cherished grandchildren, Alexei and Andrew Collins, and Jaidon Greer; her loving siblings, Thomas Spera, and his wife, Judy, and the Reverend James F. Spera; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was predeceased by her son, Thomas W. Greer, Jr; and her cherished granddaughter, Haley Greer.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. Visitation will be held at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River.
