Carey E. Devery, Jr.

Carey E. Devery, Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at CarePoint Health at Bayonne Medical Center.  He was born in Bayonne to the late Barbara (nee: Swody) and Carey E. Devery, Sr. and was a lifelong Bayonne resident.  He was a supervisor at Maidenform for 20 years prior to retirement. 

Carey was an avid fisherman, loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening.  He was also a passionate New York Giants fan.

Carey is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Maureen (nee: Mulkern) Devery; his dear siblings, Michael, Carine and Stephen Devery and Susan Espositio, and her husband, Carl; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Cremation was private. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent’s Food Pantry, 979 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002.
