Clarence Cummings passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019. He was born in Jamaica to the late Alberta (nee: Ashwood) and Walter Cummings and was an Atlanta resident prior to relocating to New Jersey. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Mr. Cummings was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sybil. He is survived by his loving children, Samuel Hardy, Lawrence Cummings, Dr. Ruth Cummings-Hypolite, Marva Hardy Brown, Andrea Hayles, Rosemarie Cummings and Grace Cummings; his 13 cherished grandchildren; and ten adoring great grandchildren; his dear brother, Mordecai Daley; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 25, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Cummings will be interred with his beloved wife on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Camp Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Fayetteville, Georgia.
