Denise Nelson

Denise Nelson passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at her Toms River residence.  She was born in Jersey City to the late Loretta (nee: Szablowski) and Herbert Nelson, and was a long-time Hudson County resident, prior to relocating to Toms River.

Denise was an avid reader and enjoyed a wide variety of books.

She was a payroll specialist for Conoco-Phillips, Linden, prior to retirement.

Denise is survived by her loving children, Jesse and Devon Woscinski; her adoring grandchildren, Jade Woscinski and Justin and Amber LaMorte; her dear siblings, Herbert Nelson, Jr., and his wife, Elaine, James Nelson, and his wife, Lynn, and Lori Nelson; and her dear sister-in-law, Linda Nelson.  She was predeceased by her loving brother, Eric Nelson.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday, February 13, 2025.  A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St. Henry at 10:45 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
