Francis E Fifer

Francis E. Fifer passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023, at Palisades General Medical Center.  He was born in Bayonne on September 23, 1931 to the late Edna (nee: Woodward) and Francis Fifer, DDS.  He was teacher for the Bayonne Board of Education for 37 years, retiring in 1994.

An avid gardener, Mr. Fifer took pride in the appearance of his garden at his home and people often stopped to admire his work.

Mr. Fifer is survived by his dear friend, Maryetta Tiner.

A funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of St. Henry on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:45 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Name, Jersey City. Arrangements are under the direction of Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.
