Francis Mistretta

Francis Mistretta passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at his Jackson residence. He was born in Jersey City to the late Dorothy (nee: Paul) and Francis Mistretta and was a long-time Hudson County resident.  Francis was a pipefitter for Western Electric and then Lucent Technologies.

Francis was a selfless and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather that always placed his family’s needs above his own. He was an avid dear and pheasant hunter.  He also loved to bowl and play softball.

Francis is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa Giampaglia, Michelle Fulton and Dawn Russomanno; his five cherished grandchildren; and four adoring great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted under the direction of Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.  A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Saturday November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
