JoAnn Buttacavoli

Jo Ann Buttacavoli (nee: Huffman), 81, passed away on February 3, 2022, at Christ Hospital, Jersey City. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina to the late Ruth (nee: Sparks) and Travis Huffman and was a longtime Bayonne resident. JoAnn received an M.S. from UNC Chapel Hill in Language Arts and a minor in Library Science. She was employed by the Bayonne Board of Education for many years as the librarian both at Henry Harris and Bayonne High School.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony, in 2015.

She is survived by her dear brothers, Bobby and Don Huffman.

The funeral will be conducted by the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. A funeral Mass will take place at the Parish of Blessed Miriam Teresa at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
