John Rokicki, Jr.

John Rokicki, Jr. passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024.  He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and was a long-time Bayonne resident. 

He was a maintenance supervisor for Elan Chemical, Newark, prior to retirement.

John was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Star of the Sea Council #371.  He was a Past Grand Knight and also served as Treasurer and as a member of the Color Guard.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara Rokicki (nee: Vida); and his dear parents, Eleanor Olszewski and John Rokicki.  He is survived by his loving children, John Rokicki, and his wife, Angel, Charles Rokicki, and his wife, Kelly and Cheryl Rokicki; his cherished grandchildren, Emily, Natalie, Adrianne, Anabel, Kevin, Gloha, and Brayden Rokicki; his dear siblings, Sharon, Debra, Cecelia and Bridget; his beloved mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and John Vida; and his loving companion, Mary Ann Latoraca.

The funeral will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024.  A funeral Mass will take place at the Church of St. Henry at 10:45 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
