Joseph White III

Joseph White III, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2020, at Alaris at Boulevard East.  He was born in Jersey City to the late Florence Edelbach and Joseph W. White.  

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 586th Signal Corps as a young man. Upon returning to civilian life, Joe worked as a warehouseman.

Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee: Opel).  He is survived by his second cousins, Rev. John White and Mr. James White and their families. Among the dear friends throughout Bayonne that Joe missed after entering the Alaris Care System, he missed Tracey Wierciuch, his brothers from F. A. Mackenzie Post, and his neighbors at the Back Bay Gardens Senior Housing in Bayonne. 

The family would like to extend many thanks to the nurses and staff at Alaris at Boulevard East in Guttenberg and Harborview Health Care Center in Jersey City for their kindness to Joe over the years.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, private services will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.
