Joyce Thomas

Joyce Thomas (nee: Perry) passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Peace Care at St. Ann’s.  She was born in Wales to the late Gertrude (nee: Plaister) and William Perry and was a long-time Bayonne resident, having come to this country at the age of 18.  Mrs. Thomas was a sales representative for Sylvette’s Clothing and was also employed at Zurich Insurance and Western Electric.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her beloved husband of 74 years, William Thomas; her loving daughter, Joan Cerro, and her husband, Dominick; her cherished grandchildren, Robin Schork and Sean and Ryan Cerro; her seven adoring great grandchildren; and dear daughter-in-law, Cynthia Thomas.  She was predeceased by her loving son, William Thomas.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.  Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 7:00 p.m.  Private cremation will follow.
