Lilia Potenciano

Lilia Potenciano (nee: Payumo) passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her Glen Cove, NY residence.  She was born in Jaen, Philippines to the late Pacita (nee: Javate) and Severino Payumo.  She was a registered nurse, working at Peninsula Hospital in Queens prior to retirement.

Lilia is survived by her loving husband, Vincent Potenciano; her beloved daughter, April Brigandi, and her husband, Paul; her cherished grandson, Luke Xavier Brigandi; and her dear siblings, Rosie Padilla, Nestor, Severino, Ferdinand, and Danilo Payumo, Cynthia Adao, Belen Rivera and Donnalita DeLuna.  She was predeceased by her loving sibilings, Hermenigildo and Carlos.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.  A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St. Henry at 10:45 a.m. Cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
