Lois C. (Gartley) Elias

Lois C. Elias (nee: Gartley), 94, passed away on March 25, 2021, at Monmouth Care Center, Long Branch. Born in Bayonne, she was a lifelong resident. She was a telephone operator for Texaco, Bayonne, where she met her husband prior to becoming a wife and homemaker.

Mrs. Elias loved bingo and trips to Atlantic City.

Mrs. Elias was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Paul Elias; and her dear brother, Jack Gartley. She survived by her loving children, George (Michele), William (Mae), Thomas (Janet), James (Monica), John Michael and Daniel Elias; her sister-in-law Helen Tomei; nine adoring grandchildren; and 12 cherished great grandchildren.

The visitation will take place on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. with a funeral service taking place at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
