Obituary
Margaret Kakalec (nee: Craig) passed away peacefully on September 18, 2022, at CareOne at Livingston. She was born in Bayonne to the late Agnes (nee: Armstrong) and Albert Craig and was a long-time Bayonne resident.
Mrs. Kakalec was a homemaker and fostered many children.
Mrs. Kakalec was predeceased by her former husband, Arthur. She is survived by her loving children, Arthur, Robert, George (Vicky), Richard, William, Donnie (Delia), Marie and Dorothy “Ellie” (Rob) Kakalec, Frank Mayhack, Joanne Nebenburgh (Frank), Debbie Cherenzia (John), and Maryellen Vargas (Angel); her 22 cherished grandchildren; her 19 adoring great grandchildren; and her dear siblings, Daniel Kira, Dorothy Gatto, and Patricia and Lorraine Craig.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, September 23, 2022. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
