Mary Kimak (nee: Kertis), 91, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Bayonne Medical Center. Born in Bayonne, she was a lifelong resident. She was an office manager with AT&T prior to retiring 29 years ago. She was also employed by Lou’s Children’s Store in Bayonne for many years.
During World War II, she was a riveter.
Mrs. Kimak was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church, serving on various committees.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Metro, in 1998. She is survived by her loving children, Joyce Patterson (George) and Michael Kimak; her devoted grandchildren, Rachel Edmunds (John), Kertis Patterson and Christopher Kimak (Stephanie); and her cherished great grandson Julian Edmunds. She was also predeceased by her loving daughter -in-law, Patricia Kimak.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 836 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002.
