Michael Gallagher

Michael Gallagher, 52, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2016, at his residence.  Born in Bayonne, he was a lifelong resident. 

Michael was a graduate of St. Peter’s Prep and New Jersey City University. He was a ticketing agent for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark until 2014.

Michael was an avid roller coaster enthusiast and a loyal Mets fan.

He is survived by his loving sister, Geri Cannon, and her husband, Vincent, of Bayonne; his dear brother, John, and his wife, Therese, of Sharon, PA; his beloved nieces and nephews, Mary Therese Gallagher, Sean Gallagher, and his wife, Erin, and Vincent Cannon, and his fiancé, Kathleen Schumann.

Michael was predeceased by his dear parents, Edna (nee: Wyman) and John Gallagher.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
