Ralph Citarella

Ralph C. Citarella, 70, passed away at Care Point Health at Bayonne Medical Center on Thursday February 23, 2023. He was born in Jersey City to the late Dorothy (nee: Holmes) and Alfonso Citarella and was a Bayonne resident for most of his life. A graduate of St. Peter’s Prep and St. Peter’s College, he was the owner of Bayonne Exterminating for many years prior to retirement.  He was also the owner of Ralph’s Place in the mid-1980’s.

Ralph was the Past President of the New Jersey Pest Management Association and a member of the Sicilian Club of Bayonne. He loved the outdoors and nature.

Ralph is survived by his beloved son, Ralph Citarella, Jr., and his wife, Bridget; his dear companion, Ellen Carroll; his loving grandchildren, Alyssa and Siobhan Citarella; and his dear siblings Dolores Rutski, and her husband, Rich, and Alfonso Citarella, and his wife, Arlene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and his former wife, Peggy Malone. He was predeceased by his dear brother, Lawrence Citarella.

The funeral will conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on February 28, 2023.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
