Reyna Caballero

Reyna Caballero, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and Bayonne resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was 53.
Born in San Juan Pueblo, Honduras, Reyna's journey was defined by her incredible strength and unwavering dedication to her family. A hardworking woman in every sense of the word, she took immense pride in her career as a bus driver for NJ Transit, a job she excelled at for many years. She approached every day with a commitment that inspired everyone who knew her. Reyna's greatest joy, however, was her family. Her love was a constant source of warmth and support, and she created a beautiful home filled with laughter and affection. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Jose Santiago; her loving children, Kelsey Corado and Isabel Santiago; her many dear siblings; and countless loving nieces and nephews who adored her.
Visitation will take place at Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc., located at 854 Avenue C, Bayonne, on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Private cremation will follow.
