Rose T. Purzycki

Rose T. Purzycki (nee: Scialabba), 89, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, at Port St. Lucie Rehab and Healthcare.  Born in Bayonne, NJ, she was a Bayonne resident for most of her life and co-owner of Virgo Hair Fashion for 25 years.

Rose is survived by her loving children, Maryann Diller, Thomas Purzycki, Henry A. Purzycki, Jr., husband of Lorraine Micewicz, and Arlene Wolf, wife of John Wolf; eight adoring grandchildren; and six adoring great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry Purzycki, her beloved parents, Anna (nee: Bruno) and Dominic Scialabba; and her dear siblings, Maurice, Anthony, Francis and Joseph Scialabba.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday, December 28, 2023. A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
