William "Bill" Farrell

William “Bill” Farrell passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at his residence in Brick, NJ.  He was born in Bayonne to the late Rita (nee: Bohn) and Francis Farrell and was a long-time resident, prior to relocating to Brick.  He was an Assistant Airport Duty Manager for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey at Newark Liberty International Airport prior to retirement.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Michele Farrell (nee: Foote).  He is survived by his loving sons, Corey Farrell, and his wife, Tanya, and David Osbahr and his wife, Michelle; his cherished grandchildren, Isabella and Ariella Farrell, and Davide Osbahr; his dear siblings, Francis Farrell, Richard Farrell, Mary Jane Bilics and Rita Dokus; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his loving sister, Joan; his dear sister-in-law, Angela; dear brothers-in-law, Russell Bilics, and Kenneth Dokus; and his dog/sidekick Buddy “Baby”.

Bill was an avid NFL fan and always rooted for his beloved Minnesota Vikings.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially taking long car rides to nowhere.  He loved going out and trying new places to eat no matter what type of food.  Bill loved his Port Authority Family and cherished the 34 years he spent with them with all the laughs.  His proudest accomplishment in life was his children and grandchildren.      

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.  A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
