Buddy was one of my best friends. He taught me basketball and how to laugh with a friend. We will miss his visits to Arizona and all his horse stories. We will never forget Harry the Horse.

My deepest condolence to Janis and the family on Buddy's passing. As one of my schoolyard friends from North Bergen, Buddy always greeted me with a smile, a bear hug, a kiss on the neck, and a sincere, "How are you doing, Doc?" I've been toasting with him once a year now at Belmar in May. No more. I loved Buddy and always counted on seeing him again. We talked horses, politics, sports, and general observations about life and aging. He was a great guy to have for a lifelong friend. He will be missed in my life.
