Jerome B. Coachman, 62, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2016, at his residence in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was a long-time resident of Matawan, prior to moving to Wake Forest two years ago. He was a chemical operator for Exxon and later Conoco Phillips in Linden, NJ.
Jerome proudly served the nation as a member of the Air National Guard.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne Coachman (nee: Fuller); his loving children, Christopher and Lindsey; and his dear siblings, Otis (Marguerite), Eric, Steven and Marcia Coachman. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Willa Mae (nee: Taylor) and Otis Coachman.
The funeral will be conducted on Monday, June 20, 2016. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
