I just learned of your mother's passing. I am so sorry. I had spoken to her recently. I was completely taken aback to hear this. I remember the conversations we had when I lived on garretson and after I moved to whiting. I remember she and my husband Bill always compared notes on the Sunday paper Jumble. I can only say what a beautiful family you are which is truly a tribute to your mother and father. I lit a candle for Joan and I will have a Mass said for her in my church.

Mom, You had a beautiful send-off. Better then the way you planned it. The people that waited in line to pay their respects stretched down the street (We thank all for that), the funeral mass could not have been more fitting - thanks in large part to Reverend Monsignor Joe Reilly. He kept non-religious people on the edge of their seats and the music you picked was ALL you. The procession of cars was more then a mile long (We thank all the Officers/Troopers involved). The repass was the icing on the cake. Rest in Peace.. Mom pull up a comfortable chair next to Dad you just have better seats to keep watching over us. We all will miss and love you forever.
