Lorraine Dethlefsen, 55, of Bayonne, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong Bayonne resident.
Ms. Dethlefsen was a pharmacist with Celgene, Berkeley Heights, prior to her short illness. She was formerly employed at St. Francis Hospital, Norvartis and Dittmar’s Pharmacy. She was a graduate of Rutgers University and their School of Pharmacy. She later earned her Ph.D.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Marjorie (nee: Hoff); her dear brother, Robert; and her loving nephews, Brian and Kevin.
A funeral service with be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.
